The Country of Guillestrois is located at the confluence of 2 rivers, Guil and the Durance, between the National park of Ecrins and the Regional Park of Queyras. With its 6 villages, the surface of the territory is approximately 394 km² and its population borders the 5500 people. The relief is staged of 858 m on the level of the bed of the Durance to culminate to 3385 m of altitude for the Peak of Make Sancte. Valley with the summits of the mountains, you will discover a country rich in exceptional landscapes as well as a flora and a very varied fauna. Its central position makes the starting point of multiple destinations of them: in less than 3/4 of hour you will join the heart of Queyras, Briançonnais or the high Valley of Ubaye and the lake of Ponçon Greenhouse.
