Pietra Ligure and the surrounding area offer a lot of opportunities to train outdoor sport activities in every season and to make interesting excursions in the hinterland. Campeggio dei Fiori is an excellent starting point for itineraries by mountain bike, street bike, trekking and climbing.
For passionate bikers there is at the campsite a small area equipped for bike fixing and washing. Guided excursions by bike are also available.

Pietra Ligure is an international tourist resort with wide beaches and a mild climate all year round.

It is an ancient town that in the past was invaded by the Longobards, Franks and the Saracens. It was once ruled by the Bishops of Albenga and then contested by the Del Carretto from Genoa and Albenga (who occupied it during the XIII century). In 1385 it was passed over to the Republic but in 1419 it was re-occupied by the Del Caretto from Finale.

The castle and the Leale-Franchetti Palace are both medieval buildings. The 18th Century churchhouses a Barbagelata table that dates back to 1496 and some stalls from the 16th century. The sanctuary of the Madonna del Soccorso is of key interest, it was built between the XVI and XVII centuries.

The inland landscape is breathtaking and it is possible to organise walks and excursions leaving the town centre situated on the coast. Visitors who just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings can walk along the sea front amongst the gardens and palm trees. Sport lovers have a large choice of facilities such as, tennis courts, a basket ball court, a sports ground, an ice skating rink, a sport fishing centre, a bowling area, windsurf facilities and lots more.
The local delicacies include fruit and wines such as Vermentino and Lumassina.

Highway A10 Genova - Savona - Ventimiglia Exit Pietra Ligure, on the right as you leave the highway after 1km you will see the camping.
